The Black Dog K-9 Rescue Project was started to help shelters place dogs into loving, lifetime homes.
We help adopters find the right dog for their family,test dogs, perform profesional dog to dog introductions and much more.
At times Black Dog fosters these dogs and assumes the cost of their care in order  to get to know them and help them through the transition from shelter to forever homes.

All proceeds from the obedience classes at the Animal Welfare League go directly back to the shelter to support their efforts to find forever homes for our friends.
